Research

Our team of researchers asked business leaders, executives, and mid-level managers in 10+ regions about how they currently consume important content to make informed decisions and any pain points they may encounter.

Key Findings:

  • They want the flexibility of digesting their information through various forms such as deep research, brief extracts, or a podcast at the touch of their fingers.

  • They expect their content to be personalized to their industry and topic interests, instead of searching for content.

  • They want to engage with other thought leaders, ask questions, or exchange ideas.

Professionals are overwhelmed by fragmented content and struggle to find trusted, actionable insights to guide their work and make informed decisions. Also thought leaders lack a dedicated platform to effectively share expertise and interact in a trusted digital space.

From user research, I learned that our audience falls into two groups: some want personalized, curated insights tailored to their industry and role, while others simply want to access insights quickly without the friction of setup. To address both needs, I designed an initial framework with dual entry paths.

  • Personalized Onboarding: Users can sign up and choose the topics they’re most interested in, ensuring their content feed is immediately relevant.

  • Quick Access Mode: Users can skip sign-up and begin exploring insights right away, ideal for time-constrained executives who value efficiency over customization.

Discover

The Discover page serves as the central hub for exploring thought leadership content across multiple formats, articles, podcasts, and research papers. Designed with an infinite scroll experience, it allows users to seamlessly browse and uncover new insights without interruption. By presenting a diverse mix of content types in one place, the page encourages exploration, supports different learning preferences, and keeps users engaged for longer sessions.

Personalization

As part of the onboarding process, users can select topics from a broad list of industries and themes. This allows the app to create a personalized content feed and profile that reflects their interests. By tailoring the experience from the start, the app delivers more relevant insights and encourages higher engagement and long-term retention.

Article

The layout is designed for easy readability and interaction, with options to share insights with peers or bookmark content to revisit later, allowing for tools to engage, collaborate, and build a personalized library of insights.
